About me

I work as a private tutor, primarily teaching Mathematics and Economics. During the past academic year, I expanded to working with students who are no longer in mainstream education in addition to my usual role supporting students doing their GCSEs and A Levels. Almost all of my current work is done online through Zoom, which allows me to reach students in the UK and much further afield in countries such as Australia, China and the Philippines. However, I have also started to take on in-person tutoring placements, which led to me completing two weeks of residential mathematics tuition for a family in Germany in July 2025.

Tutoring is my vocation and I invest an incredible amount of effort into creating bespoke resources for my students, writing regular progress reports for parents and planning memorable, enjoyable and stimulating lessons for my students. Much of my work comes to me directly, increasingly reaching me through word of mouth across several countries thanks to the outstanding reputation I have cultivated over several years of tutoring. My impeccable record was confirmed further as 100% of my A Level students achieved grades A*-B in 2024, compared with 53.7% A*-B in the wider student population.

I am familiar with all major UK exam boards such as Edexcel, AQA and OCR, as well as the Cambridge and Edexcel International GCSE and A Level curricula, and the International Baccalaureate (IB). I also possess an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, which means I have a clean criminal record.
